Startups

Outbound for startups that can't afford to waste time or money.

You need pipeline now but you can't hire a sales team yet. This gives you the infrastructure without the overhead.

Where founders actually get stuck.

-You're the founder doing sales and everything else
-Hiring an SDR is too expensive and too slow right now
-Agencies want long contracts and you're not sure the channel even works yet
-You signed up for three tools and none of them talk to each other

Why generic outbound fails for startups.

Pre-PMF teams often don't yet know who the buyer actually is. "VPs of Marketing at 50-200 person SaaS" is a guess wearing the costume of an ICP. Generic outbound at this stage burns through the addressable list before you've learned which slice of it actually pulls, and once you've sent a bad first message to someone, the cost of getting back to them is high.

Founder-led sales has bandwidth limits. The founder can probably run 20 thoughtful conversations a week, not 200. Off-the-shelf outbound tools optimize for volume, which is exactly the wrong knob for a founder who can't service the replies anyway. The constraint is reply-handling, not send-volume.

And pre-PMF vs early-PMF outbound should look completely different. Pre-PMF, outbound is a discovery channel: short messages, low ask, learning what makes people lean in. Early-PMF, it's a pipeline channel: clearer offer, faster path to call. Most tools treat both the same way, which means one of them is always wrong.

What actually works at this stage.

Smaller, sharper, faster to learn from.

Volume you set, not volume the tool wants

You choose how many leads go into a sequence, and LinkedIn's own limits cap it above that. A new account starts around 15 connection requests and 30 messages a day and grows from there. That is a smaller number than most tools sell you, and it is the number a founder can actually answer.

Discovery-mode sequences (pre-PMF)

Set the objective to Start a Conversation and the agent goes for a reply rather than a booking. No calendar link in message one, because a calendar link in message one is how you learn nothing. Switch it to Book a Meeting once you know what people are saying yes to.

ICP iteration baked in

Run more than one agent, each with its own targeting, and see which slice answers. Every lead carries the source it came from, so after a few hundred touches the comparison is something you read rather than something you guess at.

No lock-in at all

Seven day trial, then $69 a month per account, cancel from billing. There is no setup fee and no minimum term. If the channel does not fit your stage, stopping costs you a click.

Founder voice, not BDR voice

Messages are written per lead off their signal and their headline, and they are short, because a founder writing to one person is short. You give it your offer in one line and one true credibility line, and it uses that line word for word or not at all.

How it stays lean.

Startups need outbound that starts this week and does not eat the budget. $69 a month per LinkedIn account, a seven day trial, and setup that is under an hour rather than a kickoff call. Paste your website, check the targeting it writes, hit Find Leads. Then adjust as you learn what works, which at this stage is the actual point.

What we would set, if it were us.

Which sources to run

Start with the engagement sources only: people commenting on posts in your space and on your competitors' posts. Leave cold search off for the first few weeks. Volume comes later, and right now you want to read every reply.

Pace

Follow-ups sit a few business days apart and only send inside your active hours. Each touch should look considered, because at this volume each one is.

AI qualification rules

Set the objective to Qualify the Lead and it asks about setup, team size and timing. At this stage the question underneath is whether this person would pay for a v1. If they only want to give feedback, that is still worth having, and it lands in your inbox either way.

What counts as a hot reply

Any specific question about how it works, pricing, or what problem you solve. At this stage, conversation is the product.

If you would rather not run it

Everything above is yours to do. If you would rather it was done for you, Concierge Outbound is the same product with us setting it up and running it day to day, from $499 a month per account we run, on top of the $69. Async, no standing calls, and your system keeps running at $69 if you stop.

What you ship with.

Live today

Connect LinkedIn, paste your website, hit Find Leads. First outreach goes out the same day. There is no onboarding queue to sit in.

Founder-friendly

Built so you can check in when you want, not because you have to. The system runs, you steer.

Scales with you

Start with one LinkedIn account at $69. Add accounts when you have someone to run them. The price is the same per account at one or at ten, so there is no tier to graduate into.

Learn what works

See which messages land, which lead sources convert, which buyers respond. Real data, not guesses.

Founder-friendly. Always visible.

Sarah K.Interesting, what kind of companies do you usually work with?
Mostly B2B teams between 10-50 people. SaaS, consulting, agencies. Companies where the founder or sales lead is still doing outbound themselves and wants infrastructure instead of a hire.
Sarah K.That's basically us. What does onboarding look like?
Starts with a discovery call to understand your market and buyers. From there I configure the system, build your sequences, set up lead sources. Your team gets onboarded and you're running within the first couple of weeks. Want me to find a time?
Sarah K.Yeah let's do it. Thursday works.
Done. Sent you a calendar invite for Thursday at 2pm. Talk then.

Honest answers.

We're pre-PMF. Should we even be doing outbound?

Maybe. Outbound as a discovery channel, to learn who reacts to your pitch, can be valuable pre-PMF. Outbound as a pipeline channel usually isn't, because you don't yet know what "qualified" looks like. Run it in discovery mode for a month: short messages, low ask, no calendar link, and read everything that comes back. That is a cheap experiment at $69.

What does "fast" actually mean here?

Under an hour from signup to your first outreach. Connect LinkedIn, paste your website, check the targeting, hit Find Leads. What takes longer is learning anything useful from the replies, and that is a few weeks rather than a few days.

Can the founder still write some messages themselves?

Yes. Set auto-reply to Off and every reply is yours to answer, with the agent still doing the outreach. Or leave it on and take over any thread you want. The tool handles the volume, you handle the handful of conversations where your time actually moves the deal.

What if we don't have a clear ICP?

The engine writes a first version off your website, which is usually closer than founders expect and never quite right. Fix the fields it got wrong and run it. If you genuinely do not know who buys, the first month is an experiment to find out. That is a real use of outbound, just go in expecting it.

Is there a minimum commitment?

No. Seven day free trial, then $69 a month per LinkedIn account, cancel any time from billing. Annual is ten months for twelve if you want it, but monthly is the default and nobody has to speak to us to leave.

We can only afford one channel right now. Email or LinkedIn?

LinkedIn, because that is the one that starts today. Email joins once your sending domain is warm. If your buyers genuinely only read email, that wait is the whole answer, and it is worth knowing before you pay rather than after.

If you need pipeline without the overhead, start today and see what comes back.
